Machining
Graham Engineering has
amassed a wealth of experience in high quality
machining of, predominantly, stainless steel
items.
The machining facility at Nelson has proved to
be extremely flexible and is continuously
changing to meet the needs of machining
contracts.
Cellular Manufacture is standard practice.
Moving machinery to an area to reduce handling
and non-value added operations ensures that
quality remains high whilst production costs are
reduced.
The implementation of the latest machining
technology where necessary, linked with a Highly
Skilled workforce, who are mostly trained by the
linked training provider Pendle Training, has
kept Graham Engineering as a Quality Leader.
Computerised Production Planning and a fully
validated Quality Assurance department support
the machine department.
Quality Machining
Our Machine Shop has highly
skilled Engineers capable of using conventional
machining equipment for small straightforward
operations, or CNC machine tools for complicated
and high volume production.
Multi-axis profiling capability has been added
recently.
The machinery range is such that most
eventualities can be covered. The marriage of
controlled pressed/ formed components with the
even distribution of automatic welds allows the
finished machined items to be made to the
tightest tolerances and highest quality
finishes.
